Your guitar may have had controls on that small pickguard, or may not have (they would often use the same body for different control configurations). What other parts are you missing? Looking at a magnified view of your guitar, it seems that there is a control cavity beneath the area of the missing pickguard. If your guitar had it's original pickguard, someone who is knowledgeable about the rarity of this model might pay something like $500 USD for it- might. My best guess it that it's from around 1967. It shares a similar body shape and hardware with Aria Diamond model 1802T, but I doubt it has the same model number. In all my searching I was never able to find another exact example of your Aria Diamond guitar.

I'm having trouble identifying the exact model, but it's clear that it's a design by Hayashi Nobuaki, of the Matsumoku manufacturing corp. It's a model rarely seen, and it's a pity that it's missing that bass-side pickguard piece, as it will be tough to find (probably cheaper and easier to have once custom made).
